How long does process serving take in Texas?
Standard service is 5–7 business days; Rush is 48 hours; Same-Day means the first attempt happens within 4 hours of receipt. Most successful serves complete on the first or second attempt.
What is TRCP Rule 106(b) substitute service?
When personal service fails after diligent attempts, Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 106(b) allows a court to authorize substitute service — leaving documents with someone over 16 at the residence, posting on the door, or service by mail. We prepare the motion and supporting affidavit documenting our diligence so the court can grant it.
Do you serve evictions and SAPCR cases?
Yes — eviction notices, forcible-detainer citations, and SAPCR (Suit Affecting the Parent-Child Relationship) filings are core to our practice. We understand the timing requirements of each and the unique service rules that apply.
What happens if the defendant is evading service?
We add stake-out attempts at different times of day, talk to neighbors (within the law), and check known associates. Every attempt is fully documented so you can pursue alternate addresses or move for a Rule 106(b) motion.
Are your affidavits notarized?
Every affidavit is notarized — typically same-day on rush jobs. We use mobile notaries and remote online notarization (RON) as authorized by Texas Government Code Chapter 406 to keep affidavits moving without delay.

Yes. We are registered filers on eFileTexas.gov and can e-file the return of service in any Texas county that accepts e-filing. Conformed copies are emailed to you the same day.
