XperServe is a division of XperPrint LLC, based in Houston, Texas. This policy covers what we collect when you visit xperserve.com, send us a job, or use our client portal, and what we do with it. This version includes the client portal we are opening at portal.xperserve.com.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email, phone, and firm or business name.
- Case information: the papers to be served, court, cause number, the person to be served, addresses, and any documents you send or upload.
- Portal account details: your login email, name, firm, and a record of activity in your account, such as jobs created and documents viewed.
- Field records: date, time and GPS location of each attempt, photos where the law allows, and the affidavit of service. We keep these to comply with the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and to give them to you and the court.
- Payment information, handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
- Site logs: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page and time. We use cookies to keep the site and portal working, including keeping you signed in. We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To serve the papers you send us and prepare affidavits.
- To update you on your jobs and send invoices.
- To run and secure the client portal.
- To keep records Texas law requires.
- To fix problems and improve the site.
Who we share it with
- The court and the parties in the case you hired us for.
- Companies that help us operate, such as hosting, email, payment processing and e-filing. They may only use it to provide those services to us.
- Law enforcement or others when a subpoena, court order or law requires it.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Case files and affidavits are kept as long as Texas law requires. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Portal accounts stay open until you or your firm ask us to close them. Site logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
Security
The site and portal use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Case files are behind access controls, and portal users only see their own firm's jobs. No system is perfectly secure, so use a strong password for your portal account and keep it to yourself.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you or your case, or ask us to correct it.
- We do not send marketing email or texts without your consent.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser. The portal needs a sign-in cookie to work.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Other websites
We may link to other sites, such as court e-filing portals. Their privacy policies apply there, not this one.
Changes
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
